Search is being rebuilt around AI - answer engines, agent skills, MCP servers - and the tools that plug into that stack are shipping faster than any category page can keep up with. There is no Product Hunt for AI SEO, no Awesome-list that anyone maintains, no curated place where a search team can compare MCP servers or agent skills side by side. SEO Tech List owns that slot.
The build
The site runs on the Compass directory engine - Astro SSR on Cloudflare Workers with D1 and R2 - retooled for a launch-board pattern. Each listing carries editorial context, category tags spanning AI visibility, technical SEO, content SEO and infrastructure, plus type-level splits for tools, agent skills, MCP servers and open-source projects. Builders submit for free; premium placements are the monetisation lever.
Why it matters
SEO Tech List is the first non-local-services deployment of the Compass engine - proof that the same platform that powers city-by-treatment directories works just as well for a global, category-based launch board. The community it convenes is the same one buying every other product on this page.
